Welcome to Seongyojong -- The House of 100 Rooms.
(Please read this before you copy our photo or text.)

Maybe it's Korea's Shamanist traditions that place changseung (totems) on guard at the entrances to many towns and important places. The anatomically correct characters above watch over Seongyojong, the House of 100 Rooms. Probably part of their job is to make sure that no one gets in without paying the 1000 won admission fee (about US$1; that's as of 2000).
